We had a great Thanksgiving at Mom & Dad's this year. On Thursday, we all added our specialties to the dinner menu and had a great feast. On Friday, Andrew, Justin, Tiffany & were escorted to a prime Christmas Tree hunting spot by a tree expert - Dad. In about an hour we had spotted the perfect trees for each of our homes, chopped & loaded them & were headed back home. It was a sunny & enjoyable day.
Saturday we gathered all of our game watching food and our school spirit to watch the BYU-Utah game. It was a great game again this year...well at least it ended great! GO COUGARS!!! We are still waiting to hear Justin sing the BYU Fight Song, with all the "I lost the bet" spirit he can muster. If he would only start cheering for the right team... ;)
Unfortunately, the holiday ended on a slightly less cheerful note... With Tiff, Dad & I catching what we affectionately (probably not the right word...) call the Flu of Death. Yikes! I was very disappointed in my Flu Shot until our resident Pre-Med student informed me that it was not really a flu, but a virus. Either way, I have never been so sick in my life (at least that I remember) and I think it will be awhile still before I can really enjoy pizza. I was very grateful that John had come out for a surprise visit Saturday night & was willing to wait to leave on Sunday until I felt ok enough to travel.
